Brother HL-3070CW Printer Review
The Brother HL-3070CW color printer is one of the first companies to use technology LED. In competition with entry-level color laser printer, the HL-3070CW is quite fast and is easy to set up.
The Brother HL-3070CW prints in the same way as all the fundamental laser: The printer uses toner powder to an image on a rotating drum that is then transferred to paper to paint. Instead of using a laser to paint this picture, the HL-3070CW just use a line of LEDs, the same type used by some newer LCD monitors and TV backlighting.
LED printers as the Brother HL-3070CW are supposedly smaller, cheaper, quieter and more durable than their counterparts lasers While the potential maximum print resolution is lower than with lasers, LED technology can actually produce more accurate number for smaller font sizes.

The front paper cassette has a maximum capacity of 250 sheets. This seems a little on the small side, especially if you plan to achieve Brother’s claimed monthly duty cycle of 25,000 pages.
The Brother HL-3070CW comes with 64 MB memory, good enough for a steady stream of print jobs in a small handle at work. This is user expandable to 576MB on a small side, you should be upgrading the memory for a few more emphasis save jobs.

Print speeds are not fantastic, but the Brother HL-3070CW color LED printer produces decent performance. Text quality is very precise in all sizes, but the printer fine line quality option provides better results in 7pt. The color is not necessarily better than the results from laser printers, as documents suffer occasionally mis-registration and a poor alignment. Colour accuracy is mixed: the “living” option improved red and green colors in our test document, but it was blues look purple.
Brother HL-3070CW’s color LED printer can boast a relatively new technology, but at the end of the day it looks and performs like most laser printers. It will also lead to a price, but it is not without shortcomings most lasers.
