Dell 2130cn Printer Review
The Dell 2130cn is an affordable and professional color laser printers that can be connected directly to a PC with a USB port or connected to a network through its Ethernet adapter.
Like the 2130cn does not try to wow with his appearance. Dell has chosen a fairly simple design, with a monochrome color scheme and a simple layout that facilitates easy maintenance and general use. Ink cartridges are easily accessible from one side wall, and the imaging unit is hidden behind a panel on the front of the printer, so that solving paper jams and easy to install the optional automatic duplex unit easy.
The panel consists of five ways made navigation button and two quick access buttons. These provide access to basic printer status and maintenance functions, for use with a three-line monochrome LCD as a monitor.

The printer has USB and Ethernet ports. A USB adapter enables even make it to a wireless network, the printer is not recognized third party adapter, just an overpriced Dell adapter.
The 2130cn web interface provides most of the standard features found on other printers, with statistics, network configuration, e-mail alerts and color balance options all available. However, the device lacks the advanced networking and security options on more expensive laser printers, such as 802.1X authentication.
Dell’s Toolbox software provides access to the same features as the web interface when the printer is connected locally via USB.
The 2130cn offers fast print speeds for a printer in its price class. In our testing, we have seen speeds very close to those claimed by Dell, can use the 2130cn print mono text to 20.7 ppm and 16.2 ppm color. When printing a document of the first mono page was warm in an average of 13.2sec, indicating the 2130cn ability to quickly. The unit of speed easily outperforms other similarly priced color laser printer.
High speeds do not come at the expense of quality, either. Armed with a hardware resolution 600x600dpi, the 2130cn produces very accurate and readable text documents. While the 2130cn uses the same toner as in found, 2130cn from the printed colors are more vivid. The color palette is just unacceptable for professional documents and the printer does a good job of combining text and graphics – including a premium machine like HP is not able to be a difficult combination such as black text on a blue background and the 2130cn has been printed.

In the standard configuration, the device is one of the cheapest color laser printers on the market – especially with regular online rates – but adding options increases the costs quickly. Add an automatic duplex unit, for example, attracts a surcharge of $ 416.90 – the same amount users have to pay for an additional 250-sheet paper feeder. The base 2130cn is well worth the cost. Add a few extras, however, and the cost blow-out is certainly not worth it.
Based on high-yield toner, the last 2500 pages each cost of the printer user 23.85c per page. This means a printer with a higher initial prices are more expensive in the long term because of higher yield toner and better cost per page pricing.
